Students will learn that mitzvot (“commandments,” more commonly defined as “good deeds”) are essential to being a “good” individual, a caring community member, and a thoughtful Jew. Students will explore specific mitzvot, struggle with the definition of a mensch (good person), and discover ways in which they can incorporate mitzvot into their everyday lives.
