PomagranateWe welcome you to join us in celebrating and observing the High Holy Days. Come share the spirit and wisdom of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. These Holy Days are a time of prayer, music, reflection, and learning. Please join the Kadima community for a spiritually deep High Holy Days experience.

Kadima High Holy Days services are lay led. We use the Kadima Machzor which we have developed and refined over the past 20 years. Our liturgy allows members and visitors to embrace Jewish practices in ways that speak to them individually.

High Holy Days services take place at Prospect Church on Capitol Hill. Services are open to everyone at no cost; however, donations are gratefully accepted. Children's services are held on Rosh Hashanah morning and Yom Kippur morning, concurrent with adult services. Childcare is provided at no cost during Erev Rosh Hashanah, Rosh Hashanah, Kol Nidre, and Yom Kippur services.

We begin Yom Kippur with the Kol Nidre service, followed by our Yom Kippur service the next morning. The Yizkor memorial service is held later in the afternoon of Yom Kippur, and the High Holy Days close with the Ne'ilah service. We invite you to break your fast with us at a vegetarian potluck in the church parlor following N'eilah.

Reservations are requested for childcare and Children's Services: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or (206) 547-3914.
