Having these two examples of death in Torah this week rings true to me as it has been a week of loss for many in our community. This past week we lost Kadima community members Deborah Massachi z"l and Mel Perez z"l. Perhaps you lost someone this week as well. Whether their death was sudden or perhaps more expected, I wish you comfort and condolence, space, time, and community for all those who mourn, among all those in this world who mourn.
May their memories be a blessing and may peace be upon them. And upon us. May their lives inspire us to choose life and live greatly.
Shabbat shalom v'nachum – shabbat of peace and comfort,
R’ David
