High(er) Holidays:

In this workshop we will work on Heshbon HaNefesh - an accounting of our life to prepare our bodies, minds, and souls for the upcoming fresh start that the Days of Awe offer. Specifically, we will look at text and engage in practices individually and collectively that provide opportunity for reflection and growth around our capacity for receiving feedback. Starting with "love thy neighbor as thyself" (Lev 19:17), we will be asked to be gentle, contemplative, and bold. Expect some text study, some talk, some contemplation, and some stretching as we explore our relationship with receiving feedback. This workshop is imagined for ages 11+ and geared toward people ready to focus, share, and reflect. Please come scent free, and bring a journal or notebook and a willingness to learn.

Repent or Die: Cutthroat Kitchen,

Holiday cooking just got a little bit more Cutthroat. Based on the hit TV Series Cutthroat Kitchen, we'll be testing to see just how far Kadima-niks will go to win this New Years Cooking Competition. Chef teams will not only be working against the clock on their delicious holiday dishes, they'll also have to outplot the competition -- ingredients may be thieved, utensils swapped, and physical challenges added to the cooking process. Conveniently held before the Days of Awe, there will be no need to hold back -- this competition waits for no one, and you'll have time later to apologize to your competitors before the book is sealed!
