Shofar-Mobile!
Our shofar blowers will be traveling around to different Geo-group locations and offering shofar to those who socially-distantly (+ masked-ly) gather. Each shofar gathering will be 30 minutes long, and air quality permitting. All outdoor gatherings -- including socially distanced tashlich -- will be canceled if the air quality index is above 99. Since our High Holidays team will be in the midst of their own holiday practice that day, please do check the index on Sunday -- if it is above 99, the events will not take place + there will not be an additional communication sent out to the community. The events will, however, be rain or shine -- but who can say they're really thinking about that right now?
All events below are scheduled for Sunday, September 20 - Rosh Hashanah Day 2
