Tuition Policy
Kadima is committed to doing everything possible to avoid turning away any young person who wants to attend Kadima School. We strongly believe that the progressive Jewish education we offer should be accessible to all families who wish to participate.
If, when signing up for the upcoming school year, you are unable to pay full tuition for Kadima School, please register by September 27th, 2019. We ask that you consider the total amount you are able to pay for all the young people in your family who wish to attend the program, and enter that amount when prompted in the registration form. We will be in touch with you to discuss your payment situation and next steps. Our intention is to do our best to meet your financial needs along with our obligation to pay our teachers and fund the school. We will prioritize requests made by the above date, and will be in touch within two weeks.
If you are currently enrolled in school and find that your financial situation changes so that you are no longer able to pay the amount you initially committed, please be in touch. We will do whatever we can to enable your family to remain enrolled.
Kadima’s overall budget funds many programs and offerings beyond the school. School tuition is set lower than the actual cost of the program to make sure we are as financially accessible as possible and to build a community that welcomes those from a wide range of financial access. If your family is able to contribute more than the current tuition rates, we strongly encourage you to do so, enabling more young people to participate in our programs and increasing the class diversity in our community.
We encourage payment plans that divide the total amount you are contributing into monthly installments, completing your yearly payment by June. Monthly payments both sustain Kadima’s budget year-round and may make payments more manageable for you.
Please be in touch with Rabbi David Basior or Mollie Wolf, Kadima’s Youth & Family Organizer, with any questions or to discuss further.
