Adult B'nei Mitzvah Class Primer (Fall Series)
Sundays Nov 10-Dec 15, 12n-1:30pm @ Kadima (upstairs classroom - not wheelchair accessible)
Ready to dig into Jewish learning in community? Rabbi David will be leading a 6 session fall series class beginning Sunday, November 10, 12-1:30pm at Kadima to prepare students for a year of study toward a January 2021 adult bnei mitzvah. This primer series will on Sundays at 12noon for 6 sessions through December 15 and be the perfect primer for anyone interested in digging into Jewish text learning - a time to ask questions, contextualize our learning, and gain some familiarity with basic Hebrew. In January, there will be an opportunity to continue or join the cohort that will go through the year, as described below. Register for the fall series in the ticket link below with an intention to attend at least 4 of the 6 sessions.

Over the course of January 2020-January 2021, join a cohort of weekly (with some breaks) learners to study Torah and its interpretations, books on Jewishness and Judaism, and participate in a siyyum (celebration of learning) that could serve as a bnei mitzvah for you as an adult. Class will be led by Rabbi David and will focus on the Torah portion of Shemot - the first section of the Book of Exodus illuminating the rise of a new king who systematically began the enslavement of the Hebrews.
