Heart & Chutzpah 5783: "What We Water Grows"
This year’s Heart & Chutzpah was on Sunday April 30th and was a HUGE SUCCESS! Thank you to all who came in person and on Zoom and to all who weren't able to attend and donated, and bid on auction items. We are deeply grateful for your support
Heart & Chutzpah 5783's theme is “What We Water Grows”. We envision this intention as a collective recommitment to dreaming and building the world that we want to be a part of, create for each other and give forward. Like gardeners, we invest attention, intention and resources to cultivate our desired outcomes.
It was a joyful, upbeat, hopeful, celebratory blast and we are so grateful to all of our community members, volunteers, speakers, guests, sponsors, staff, donors, and planning team members. As our board co-presidents Rainer and Lauren shared on Sunday, Kadima is "a coalition of people who come here for different things, a community, a congregation, a cultural, artistic, and political organization, that must be co-created with the full participation of each of our various parts … How powerful to be reminded that we are interdependent, doing none of this alone." Thank you all.
We raised $42,833 so far through ticket sales, individual donations, raffle tickets, auction bids, and sponsorships. Our goal is $55,000 - can you help us raise the last $12,167? Here’s how you can help right now:
1. Continue to bid on auction items and donate using our event platform on Givebutter, whether you attended Heart & Chutzpah or not. The auction will close on Sunday, May 7th at 6pm. (Directions on how to register to bid & donate via GiveButter below). We encourage you to share the auction with friends and family! |
2. Donate in honor of Heart & Chutzpah using Kadima’s regular donation page and selecting “Heart & Chutzpah/Annual Fundraiser” in the drop down menu, whether you attended and want to give more or did not attend and want to donate in honor of this fabulous community celebration.
