How does my young person access their Shabbat School class when it's online?
Zoom links are below. All classes still start at 10am when we're online, and teachers will communicate with you about how long each class will run. Each class meets at its own link, so be sure to have one device set up for each young person if possible!
What time and where is Shabbat School when it's in person?
Shabbat School always starts at 10am, and closing circle is always at 11:30am.
1st and 3rd Saturdays are class days: Young people meet with their classes individually (see table and map below for meeting locations) and join closing circle at 11:30am. Families are invited to join in for closing circle as well, and stick around for kiddush and lunch afterwards!
2nd Saturdays are services & chug days: All young people -- plus adults of kiddos in Nitzan -- participate in Shabbat morning services and a chug (activity) together at Shelter 3. Closing circle for everyone is at 11:30am -- stick around for kiddush afterwards!

How do I find the shelters?
- To get to Shelter 3, head towards the pottery studio, veer up the road to the right, and there will be an upper parking lot on your right.
- To get to Shelter 4, head towards the pottery studio, veer up the road to the right, pass the first upper lot for Shelter 3, the next smaller lot for Shelter 2, and continue to the final upper lot for Shelters 4 and 5.
Is Seward Park physically accessible?
It is for some, and not for others. There is paved access to most -- although not all -- of the shelters we will be using, and we have planned class locations based on the knowledge we have about the needs of each person in the class. Please let us know if any of your family's access needs change, and we will make immediate adjustments to allow for full participation!
What should my young person bring to Shabbat School?
Please come prepared for all weather. Please be sure to wear (ideally) and bring (second choice):

What happens if it's raining on a Shabbat School day?
If it's drizzling, raining a little on and off, or generally Seattle-ing, we'll still meet in Seward Park and enjoy the elements! If it looks like it's going to be pouring, we'll move Shabbat School online by 3pm on the Friday prior to a given session. Watch your email for updates!
How do I sign up for lunch?
We're trying something new this year: sign up for lunches for the entire year to eat after Shabbat School, and we'll buy just enough meals for those who've signed up. We know that there will be times you can't make it (we'll have a way to make sure the food isn't wasted, of course!) but sign up if you are planning on eating lunch more than you're not, and help us steward our community's money well!
Lunches will be boxed or bagged in individual adult-sized portions, and will include utensils. All food will be vegetarian.

What about Covid?!
We hate it too. Check out our most current health and safety guidelines, and stay tuned for changes as everything continues to change!
